WomenNow-Logo-Icon-purple.png

The WomenNOW! Sexual and Reproductive Justice Continuum is a virtual, transnational organizing effort that seeks to create and establish a network of Black feminists across the globe. Our goal is to hold nine regional events in which we convene throughout 2021 to create a framework and focus for the WomenNOW! 2021 In-Person Summit in Durban, South Africa. The Queens Room founder, Terri Bailey, has been working as one of the outreach coordinators. Please visit https://www.womennow.world/ for more details.

The Warrior Women’s Wellness event on July 13th was a success! Various speakers gave presentations related to the experience of existing as a LatinX woman. From applications of feminism in our everyday lives to a manifesto for putus, the event covered a wide range of topics affecting LatinX women today. Other presentations included a deconstruction of LatinX aesthetics, holistic womb wellness, and spiritual self-care. Below are some screenshots from the event!
